Yes indeed, unfortunately not too surprising.

I had planned to sign the whole thing (my presentation at the main conference in Malta) but given the fact that interpreters weren’t present, and everyone else was going to speak in English, the session became deaf unfriendly and left only hearing in the audience. So in the end I made a statement in ASL along the lines of this blog post, but “regretfully” presented in spoken English.

Does that spoil my argument? Should I have done otherwise?

Yeah, I think the missionaries are based out of the city next to ours, which would make more sense given its bigger size and younger atmosphere. Definitely a movement that we need to consider to be effective as a church.

Yes! My brother Taylor was a part of this cast. He was a part of In Sync in 2008. (the musical gift definitely passed over me) but I was thrilled to see him in that Youtube clip. Apparently this is the version that will be re-aired in the Fall, am I right about that?

Frankly it seems difficult to imagine how they could really make more huge leaps with the device. It’s already head and shoulders above everything else on the market, barring a few complaints (i.e., turn by turn navigation, picture messaging, horizontal texting and video) all of which they actually resolved in the update. And, since the cost of the 16gb went down $100 for what it was before, I actually can’t really think of a single downside to the device now.

Yeah, the ones who sang the Amy Winehouse song “Rehab” at the show – that’s Burbank High School’s In Sync of which I was a (star? hehe) performer from 1997 to 2001. It was good stuff. We went to Showstoppers three times and placed 3rd in Orlando in 1999, and 2nd in St. Louis in 2000.

So, yeah, the show has got me hooked already!

I have never really gotten into the OT until this year and it is literally INCREDIBLE. Learning so much through it and getting total OT overload right now (studying Moses in BSF, studying Genesis in a bible study and studying Joseph at church). Glad it’s treating you well!
